It brings me great pleasure to announce the next portrait in our Liquid Family series. Today we'll celebrate a person who is such a good example of the very essence of Liquid – meet Magnus Malmgren.
Magnus is our appreciated Business Support Manager, managing a crucial part of our backbone – the Liquid Business Support Team. He's a person that's passionated and always there for our teams making sure things runs smooth at Liquid, so that all our teams can focus on delivering value to our customers.
Hi Magnus, can you please tell us about yourself and your role at Liquid?
Magnus: I’m part of Liquid’s Business Support Team, and we work with several different tasks; accounting, employee contracts, expense processing, IT, payroll, scheduling, time reporting, travel arrangements etc.
What got you to join Liquid?
Magnus: Back in 2017 I was looking to do something different after spending over 20 years in the restaurant industry, so I had a few virtual meetings with our old CEO where he explained what Liquid was and how he thought I would fit in Liquid’s organization back then. So decided to give it a go, knowing the world is full of restaurants if I would “fail” with Liquid, but I’m still here and love every day. Very happy I joined Liquid, and it will soon be 6 years.
Where do you see that Liquid does a difference for our customers?
Magnus: In our flexibility and willingness to always put the customer first. Furthermore, with our range of different specialists employed we can be the “total solution” for most customers within our industry. So instead of dealing with several different companies our customers would only need to work with Liquid, we make it easier!

What are the best parts about working at Liquid?
Magnus: I would say the opportunity to meet people from all around the world with all the different skills that are needed to make Liquid the company it is, and what it will become (since Liquid is always evolving). The Liquid I joined almost 6 years ago was very different from what Liquid is today, and it has been very interesting being part of this journey and transformation.
Can you tell us one thing outside of work that you are passionate about?
Magnus: I give you three; books, exercise (in different forms) and travel.
