Jose is an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer that helps our customers with the very core of their business. Through his experience, passion, and exceptional customer relationship skills, he makes our customer also feel that they’re a part of the Liquid Family.
Hi Jose, can you please tell us about yourself and your role at Liquid?
Jose: Hi, my name is Jose Luis Ponce and I am about to accomplish 3 years at Liquid this August 17th, I started here as a Field Service Engineer to expand the business field to the filling and distribution equipment area in the company and after many successful missions I was promoted to a Senior FSE Engineer after participating in some other missions in maintenance for processing equipment as long as performing excellent customer relationship skills.
What got you to join Liquid?
Jose: I was tested in some missions externally before joining to Liquid in Peru, when an external customer wanted an experienced FSE to perform some trials in Tetra Pak machines with a new packaging material and somebody recommended me. All those missions were successful, so Daniel gave me the opportunity to be part of the team and start expanding the business to the filling area.
How would you explain what Liquid does and which values we try to deliver to our customers?
Jose: Clearly, Liquid is a company with very experienced people in the food processing and packing area, and that’s the most important value in the business because we all know what to do in many situations without any guidance just using our high before experiences in our areas, and that’s what customers like from us, we all know what to do and that’s the main reason in the company success.
Where do you see that Liquid does a difference for our customers?
Jose: People in Liquid has a wide experience not only in technical situations to solve technical issues, they also have a great customer management experience and that is definitely a plus because we always have excellent customer relations and they trust too much in us, that is a plus for our company.

What are the best parts about working at Liquid?
Jose: Definitely the liberty with responsibility we receive every day, we treat directly with our leaders and with Daniel directly, we feel the trust they have on us and we are not stressed by them in our responsibilities, our decisions are respected when we do our labors and we have time for personal life after the missions are done.
Can you tell us one thing outside of work that you are passionate about?
Jose: I care too much about my daughters, family, and their development, and that is my most important hobby when I am having time off, I try to be as much more present as possible those days and take care of them. Friends and family, those are my main activities after my long times outside home.
